Leading organizational transformation can be isolating work, particularly for leaders. This leadership series is specifically designed for principals, teacher leaders, and district leaders to provide the support and community needed to initiate and sustain transformational personalized learning work in their schools and districts. The cohort will provide leaders with the strategies and skills necessary to lead this work, including split-screen leadership - simultaneously leading this effort while managing in a traditional environment. Participants are encouraged to participate as part of a school or district team.
The professional learning opportunity will consist of a series of face-to-face sessions that will provide the framework and foundation for leading organizational transformation. Between each session teams will be asked to identify activities they will engage in within their school or district, based on their own unique situation and context. Each team will set goals for their growth and outcomes from the experience. Online opportunities will be provided for participants to provide updates on their progress and engage in ongoing collaboration with other teams and Institute facilitators.
