The Institute believes that the voices and input of learners are critical to the successful implementation of personalized learning. To that end, we have a Youth Advisory Council (YAC) comprised of students from member districts. Council members meet a minimum of six times throughout the school year.
Member activities/benefits include:
- Having a voice in an evolving educational model
- Leadership and communications skill development
- Networking opportunities
- Participation in the National Convening on Personalized Learning
- Strengthening personal success skills such as creativity, collaboration and problem-solving
