Networks are powerful creators of ideas and action. The Institute for Personalized Learning has always believed in a network approach to align, organize and amplify the individual efforts of member school districts. Forming and strengthening the relationships and connections within a network is critical to mobilizing action around shared goals.

A robust network provides opportunities for open access and active cross-pollination of promising practices. The open-source environment encourages the sharing of knowledge and diverse perspectives and creates a synergy that powers innovation. As a result of this idea-rich environment, initial changes have the potential to grow and become transformative. This also allows participants to make significant progress in a relatively short period of time.
