Includes classroom tours, meetings with staff, stakeholder panels, team-building activities, and a professional design session. Featured location is IgKnight Personalized Learning Academy (KIPLA). Opened in August 2023, KIPLA supported approximately 100 learners in grades 3rd-8th during the 2023-24 school year.

Kaneland School District's 10 Tenets of Personalized Learning
Kaneland #302 is the second largest geographic school district in Illinois and is comprised of four elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, and a career center. The district prides itself on consistency in expectations and learning outcomes among the schools, as well as high levels of collaboration among staff.
It’s expected that all classrooms in the district will implement the following ten tenets of personalized learning. This is a district-wide implementation that has happened through multiple professional development academies over the past six years.
