Institute for Personalized Learning - Learner-Centered Site Visits

Visit schools where you can see powerful learning strategies first-hand. This unique experience is designed to provide access to learner-centered classrooms and programs in Southeastern Wisconsin. The agenda includes professional learning time to help visitors process what they see. Participants will leave with concrete strategies for implementing learner-centered practices in their classroom, school or district.

New for 2024-25! i4PL is focusing on the learner experience by highlighting a featured group of locations for each pair of visit dates. This will provide participants with a common ground to build on during their conversations and design session, and also provide additional tour time for visitors at some of our locations.

We continue to offer three registration options to meet the needs of your team:

Option A: Day 1 Only
Includes all of Day 1; an overview meeting with the i4PL Team and Day 1 visits, as well as lunch and an informal debrief session. Day 1 runs 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Option B: Day 1 (Full Day) & Day 2 (Visits Only)
Includes an overview meeting with the i4PL Team and all scheduled visits for Day 1 and Day 2, as well as lunch and an informal debrief between Day 1 visits. Day 1 runs 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Day 2 runs 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

Option C: Two Full Days
Includes the entire schedule; an overview meeting with the i4PL Team, all visits, lunch on both days, an informal debrief between Day 1 visits, and a Design Session with i4PL staff on Day 2. Day 1 runs 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Day 2 runs 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Site Visit Disclosures

• All times are Central Time Zone.

• All visitors are expected to follow the visitor and Health & Safety guidelines for each individual location. Visitors are expected to show a state-issued identification at all locations.

• Each site will alert you to specific guidelines they have regarding the capture of still and/or video images and the inclusion of students. Regardless of this policy, these images should be used in good faith for your private use only and not used or shared publicly anywhere on the web, electronically or in print.

More dates will be added soon! Districts also have the option of creating their own cohort of participants on a custom date that fits their schedule. Contact i4PL for pricing and scheduling options.

Registration Policies

Registration Deadline: Two calendar weeks prior to the first day of each set of site visits.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations for site visits must be received at least 7 business days prior to the first date of each set of visits for a refund to be issued. Registrants who cancel less than 7 business days before or do not attend will be billed for the full fee, regardless of payment method.
