Prepare yourself to hit the ground running at the 2024 Forum! This immersive session will equip you with the foundational knowledge and practical skills to put learners at the heart of your practice. Expert facilitators will guide you through engaging activities that explore the what and the why of learner-led education.
*i4PL Members: Included in your registration at no cost. If you plan to attend, registration is required.
*Non-members: Boot Camp is an optional $50 choice in addition to your Forum registration.

Join us right at 5:00 pm to spark your connections and your collaborative spirit. This is an essential component of the Forum experience, so don’t be late! Network with like-minded professionals, share ideas, and get the power in the room ignited for the i4PL Forum.

Day 2 - Thursday, October 3rd - 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

9:00 AM - 11:30 PM - Morning Masterminds
Get inspired by real-world examples of success and engage in lively conversations with educational leaders. This session will feature presentations from educators showcasing successful learner-centered programs in a variety of settings. The roundtable format will provide opportunities for in-depth discussions around each topic.
Possible topics to explore include educator agency, transitioning your Portrait of a Learner/Graduate into practical application, implementing authentic assessment methods, student leadership and ownership of their own learning, and fostering connections within the community.

12:45 PM - 2:30 PM - Afternoon Action Stations
Time to roll up your sleeves! The afternoon will be dedicated to collaborative problem-solving. Join practitioners in like roles to engage in collaborative conversations, share your current problems of practice, and learn from each other. Participants will rotate through themed breakout sessions focused on specific challenges or opportunities in learner-centered education. Each session will be facilitated by an expert and involve brainstorming, collaborative problem-solving, and developing practical solutions.
Possible topics to explore include curriculum and instructional design, learner agency and engagement, the sustainability and scalability of learner-centered practice, and the roles/identity of the learner and the educator in a learner-centered environment.
2:30 PM - Closing Remarks & Farewell
Wrap up the i4PL 2024 Forum with key takeaways and a warm send-off.
