Perspectives from Learners

We believe that the voices and input of learners are critical to the successful implementation of learner-centered education. To that end, we have a Youth Advisory Council (YAC) comprised of learners from i4PL Member districts. Youth Advisory Council member activities include:

• Having a voice in an evolving educational model
• Leadership and communications skill development
• Networking opportunities
• Strengthening personal success skills such as creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving

Council members meet approximately six times throughout the school year.
